- Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine
Prescription drug abuse is a problem that has taken over many communties in Ohio. Countless lives have been lost and families have felt the heartbreak of dealing with loved ones who are addicted to prescription drugs. However, communities, through their pain, are coming together to take their communities back.
Drug-Free Action Alliance has partnered with Cardinal Health and The Ohio State University to give tools to communities to help aid them in their battle against this epidemic.
Cardinal Health created a webpage which contains toolkits for both adult and youth audiences. These toolkits are free to communities across the state. These toolkits can be used as presentation materials in a variety of settings where groups come together to tackle their own community issues.
The Ohio State University's School of Pharmacy also has created a number of resources for communities. Their resource page includes tool kits directed at everyone from elementary school students to pharmacists to assist every audience and every presentation. There are also educational videos that can be shared at any presentation on the site and these resources are free of charge.
